So it's not quite the "beginning of the week," as I had planned. But, better late than never.
I have totally fallen in love with Moda's "It's a Hoot" fabric line, so I figured making some stuff for the shop was a good excuse to order some of it.
Thanks to my amazingly creative friend Angela I was able to make some of these crayon wallets. Angela is one of those people who comes up with original ideas (which I never have) and she's also one of those people who's analytical enough to look at something and say, "Hey, I could make that like this, only I'd change this and that and make it better." So she made her daughter a crayon wallet, then graciously made me a tutorial on how to make them.
And here they are:
Girl version
Boy version
They come with 5 Crayola crayons (but have room for 10) and a 4"x6" notepad.
And just so I could see ALL the fabric from the line, I ordered a charm pack and made 3 sets of quilted notecards
All of these are listed in the shop as of this afternoon.
Remember - ALL profits from the sale of these items (and everything else in the shop) goes to benefit e3 Kids as they raise funds for a dorm for kids at Royal Kids School in Kenya.
Have a great weekend!
Those are all so stinking adorable! I wish I had money to buy things from your store! And what a great idea. A crayon wallet. Awesome!
